Weather Related Closings/Delays
Decision to cancel Head Start Classes
Each center will follow the snow closing decision of the main school district in that centers area as follows:
Greenwood, Fairview, Stevens, Juniata, Wright and Penn-Lincoln will follow the direction of the Altoona Area School District
Claysburg will follow the direction of the Claysburg School District
Tyrone will follow the direction of the Tyrone Area School District
Martinsburg #1 (Lord) will follow the direction of the Williamsburg School District
Martinsburg #2 (Rossman) will follow the direction of the Spring Cove School District
Foot of Ten will follow the direction of the Hollidaysburg School District
Hollidaysburg will follow the direction of the Hollidaysburg School District
When the district announces a delay and no morning kindergarten the following schedule will be used:
Greenwood #1, #2, #4 children will not have AM classes. PM classes will be picked up at regular time.
Greenwood #5, #8 - children will be picked up one hour later than regular schedule.
Greenwood #7 children will be picked up at regular time.
Greenwood #3 children will not have AM classes. PM classes will be picked up at regular time.
Penn-Lincoln -
Stevens - children will be self-transported into the building. HS will transport home.
Fairview - children will report two hours later than regular schedule.
Juniata - children will be picked up two hours later than regular schedule.
Wright - children will be picked up two hours later than regular schedule.
Hollidaysburg #1 children will not have class.
Hollidaysburg #2 - children will be picked up two hours later than regular schedule.
Foot of Ten children will not have class.
Claysburg children will not have AM class. PM will be picked up at regular time.
Martinsburg #1 - children will be picked up two housr later than regular schedule.
Martinsburg #2- children will be picked up two hours later than regular schedule.
Tyrone #1 children will not have AM class. PM will be picked up at regular time.
Tyrone #2 - children will be self-transported into building. HS will transport home.
