Can I send in special treats?
Healthy treats are always welcomed. Check with your teacher before bringing in snacks to the classroom.

What if my child is allergic to certain foods?
We will provide alternative foods for children with allergies, provided we have a doctor’s prescription.

Can I visit my child at school?
Parent’s participation is very important to your child and our program. Parents may visit their child’s classroom at any time without making prior arrangements.

How do I call off a sick child?
Call (814) 946-5247 Ext. 201 and leave a message with the child’s name, bus driver, center, and the date(s) your child will be off.

Does my child need his/her shots for enrollment in the program?
The child’s shots must be up-to-date according to their age for enrollment.

Does my child need a physical and dental exam for enrollment?
All children must have a current physical and dental exam for enrollment.

May my child take medication while in class?
We can accommodate giving your child prescription medication during the Head Start day after we complete the medication procedure.
